One in eight women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death among women.
246,660 women in the U. S. annually are diagnosed with breast cancer.
About 40,000 women will die each year.
About 2,600 men are diagnosed annually with breast cancer.
Approximately 440 men will die of breast cancer in the U.S. each year.
On average, every 2 minutes a woman receives a breast cancer diagnosis.
One woman dies of breast cancer every 13 minutes.
There are over 2.8 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S. today.
